In the Netherlands you can start with driving lessons when you are 16. At 17 you’re able to get your drivers licence and may drive with a experienced driver next to you till you’re 18. The dutch government, in association with TeamAlert, started 2toDrive; a project to help teens get their licence before they are 18, so they can become responsible drivers.
Challenge
Create a campaign for teens from 14-16 years old, empowering them to make the choice of starting their driving lessons while under 18.
Outcome
I created a stop-motion from start to finish. The fun and simple animation is packed with meme culture and easter eggs and was backed by posters, a website redesign and social media posts.

My Role

Fun fact
Because the campaign had to be produced on short notice and was lacking a budget, I had to find creative solutions for several challenges, which included asking an intern to star as main character, taking photo’s in our office instead of a studio and animating everything myself.
